I’m about to drop the best sales advice ever given to you savages.

It ONLY takes 2 things to close sales.

These 2 things have to coincide on EVERY sales call. Without both your chances of closing go down dramatically. Most salespeople have 1 or none of these 2 qualities and it’s the EXACT reason they struggle to break past 5&6 figures.

Once you master the art of using these 2 things to influence your prospects, you get in to that FU money.

  • You don’t have to be a smooth talker
  • You don’t have to be good looking
  • You don’t need a degree
  • You don’t need to work 100 hours a week

You simply need these 2, simple traits that make or break a salesperson’s career.

#1 Empathy:

Empathy means you understand a person’s situation. In this case, the person is the prospect. In order to understand a person’s situation, you’d need to listen to them and let them share their story.

Most salespeople want to talk and impress clients with their vocality. Which works if you’re a super good talker, but for most salespeople, it just blows the sale.

The key to garnering empathy with your prospects is to ask lots of questions and acknowledge what they are saying. Demonstrate all the qualities of a good listener. People pay therapists big money just to listen. Be a sales therapist. Listen to the problem thoroughly, diagnose the situation and close them.

#2 Confidence:

You can have empathy all day long but if you are insecure when you present the offer, you will lose the sale. The key to confidence is product knowledge. The more you know about your product, the more confident in it’s abilities and your ability to sell it.

Salespeople are by nature confident. This is easiest part of the 2 things you need. Confidence comes from experience. You need to know your product and you need to know what’s best for your prospects.

When you combine empathy and confidence the prospect is closable. They know you understand and they see that you confidently belive you can help them. That’s the winning combination and honestly it’s the only sales advice you’ll ever need.

The key to getting in front of more people to show empathy and confidence to is by getting leads. The best place to get leads is online and the fastest way to get them is with PhoneSites. Sign up today for a FREE 14 day trial.
