To Whom it May Concern In The Matter Of The Rio Vista Charge

In April of 2018, I spoke on the phone with Joshua Earp. At the time he approached me and acted like a friend. He said he was going to do some FREE SEO work for me because he liked my blog so much. I 100% fell for it and got on a few calls with him.

Towards the end of April 2018, I got on a Skype call where Joshua Earp pitched me on buying SEO services from him. He continually said it was a 6 month contract but I can cancel anytime I wanted. He also stated he would write articles and edit things on my blog to get more traffic to hardcorecloser.com

I signed the credit card form and the contract, which says I can cancel at any time, with 30 days notice. I paid the money and proceeded to move forward.

A few days later, instead of doing it himself, Joshua had me do a ridiculous amount of work. I’m talking 10,000 word articles that I was under the impression he was going to write. They sent me “how to” videos on how to set up my site. Again, I was under the impression that they were going to be doing all of this for $10,000 per month.

In June of 2018, I got on another sykpe cal with Josh. This time from a different skype number. He never used the same skype or same phone number twice. It was confusing. But then, I caught him lying and things changed.

He showed me how I was #1 on google for a keyword he was working on, but when I went to my google and typed in what he did, I got totally different results. He didn’t have his browser on incognito mode, so of course google brings my stuff up, he’s been to my site before. I’m smart enough to know that he was either A: inexperienced or B: trying to con me. My guess was B

For over a week I FB messaged, skype messaged and tried to call Joshua. He avoided me until he finally called back. I told him I wanted to cancel and he said “no problem he would take care of it” and that was the end I thought.

The next credit card statement I get a month later, has another charge on it. So I had my assistant track down this Rio Vista company and find a guy named James. She emailed James to cancel at my request. So we had 2 more charges since I canceled and I was willing to only charge back 1.

We sent the details over to BofA and the charge was reversed after a month or so. I thought that was the end of it.

Then, one night I get a random threatening call from this James guy. He said he was going to charge my card again with or without my permission. I immediately contacted BofA and canceled that card.

If anyone “stole” from anyone, as James is saying, it’s them stealing another month of payments for a service that I wanted to cancel and asked my point of contact to do so and he agreed. Even in the contract on page 5, section 7 it says if they fail to remedy anything in 21 days the contract is terminated. I gave them almost 60 days notice from the final charge. My search traffic hasn’t gone up and I’m sure they have undone any work they did, rendering the SEO I did pay for intangible.

Thank you for your help in this matter,

Ryan Stewman

In the attached google analytics screenshot you can see my search traffic never increased

You can also see the keywords they supposedly SEO for me don’t even show up on the analytics
